What size options are available?

The ExtremeMist Reptile Mister is available in 20-ounce and 32-ounce sizes.

Which mister size should I choose?

The 20-ounce option is lighter and easier to handle, while the 32-ounce option holds more water for larger habitats or longer misting sessions.

Does the mister require batteries or electricity?

No. The mister uses a manual hand pump to create pressure and does not require batteries, electricity or a power cord.

How does the continuous spray work?

Fill and pressurize the bottle according to the included instructions, then use the thumb control to release a sustained spray without repeatedly squeezing a standard trigger.

Can the spray pattern be adjusted?

Yes. The nozzle adjusts from an ultra-fine mist to a more concentrated stream for different misting and compatible cleaning applications.

How much pressure can the mister hold?

The manufacturer rates the manual pressure system for up to approximately 100 PSI, or 7 bar, when the bottle is operated according to the instructions.

Can I use the mister to maintain terrarium humidity?

Yes. The fine-mist setting can help support habitat humidity. Monitor conditions with a hygrometer because appropriate humidity levels vary by species.

Can cleaning products be placed in the mister?

Use only liquids permitted by the manufacturer. If a bottle is used with a cleaning solution, label it clearly and never use that same bottle to mist reptiles, amphibians, plants or occupied habitats.

How do I open the bottle after use?

Release all internal pressure according to the included instructions before loosening or removing the top. Never attempt to open the bottle while it remains pressurized.
